Ben Christie – Editor
Ben is a born and bred Wellingtonian, a graduate of Victoria University and the Southern Cross tavern. He then left these shores to be a ski bum in Colorado and an English teacher in South Korea before returning to New Zealand to chase his dream of becoming a journalist. After graduating from journalism school he worked as a reporter and sub-editor at Radiolive and then as a producer/presenter at TVNZ7. Now at the helm of FishHead indulging his passion for print, he couldn’t be more excited to bring Wellington the magazine it deserves.
Ben likes to spend what free time he has with family and friends, in second hand bookstores, watching test cricket or attempting to learn the entire catalogue of 80’s indie band The Smiths on his guitar.

Richard Aindow – General Manager
Richard Aindow is a passionate traveller, journalist, and photographer - he combines all three whenever he can. A recent Wellington immigrant from Nelson, he is excited to be foraging out some of the capital's best kept secrets from his Aro Valley base.
Coming from a strong sales background helping develop the hugely successful WildTomato magazine in Nelson since February 2008, he is now adjusting his alignment to help FishHead come of age in its own right.
When not doing any of the above Richard juggles football, cinema, radio broadcasting and even comparing a quiz. Since watching Swiss Family Robinson, Richard has been fascinated with the idea of living in a tree-house but is concerned about falling out. He hates poverty and sitting still.

Kevin Degutis - Designer
FishHead designer, Kevin Degutis, believes firmly in the ethos of FishHead: he lives life in the to the fullest exploring all the back streets. As a result of hard work and play, he is able to achieve a sense of balance and harmony - Zen personified.
Kevin's enthusiasm for portraying the lifestyles of the unique individuals is reflected in the look of FishHead. A creature of habit, he can be found in a handful of places; typically, at work, trying to find a rock to climb or running/tramping through any number of bush trails. One has to wonder where he fits in sleep.

Jack Martin - Publisher
Jack came to New Zealand from the UK in 2006 to marry his beautiful Kiwi wife. Since then he has kept himself occupied with his two baby boys, a puppy and publishing a couple of magazines.
He loves publishing FishHead and WildTomato (the magazine for Nelson and Marlborough), in particular getting down in the trenches at the sharp end of the month as the magazines approach print deadline. He is frequently heard telling people, “publishing a magazine is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.”
Time permitting he enjoys tennis, back-country skiing and reads obsessively.
